What Power Platform consulting looks like with me
Most engagements begin with a process running on spreadsheets, email approvals, or workflow platforms nearing end of life. These are the areas I work in.
Power Apps for line-of-business processes
Replace spreadsheets, paper forms, and email-driven intake with Power Apps that enforce the business rules, capture clean data, and work on the devices staff already carry.
Power Automate workflow modernization
Rebuild Nintex, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath processes as Power Automate flows, keeping approvals and routing intact while removing dependencies on retired platforms.
Dataverse data modeling
Design tables, relationships, and security roles in Dataverse so business data has one authoritative home instead of living in disconnected lists and departmental files.
Power BI reporting and visibility
Connect Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL Server sources to Power BI so leadership sees volume, status, and cycle time without manual roll-ups.
Integration with Microsoft 365 and .NET systems
Connect Power Platform solutions to SharePoint Online, Teams, SQL Server, and existing ASP.NET applications so automation fits the systems of record rather than working around them.
Governance, support, and handoff
Establish environment strategy, naming, and ownership, then document and train internal makers so solutions remain supportable after the engagement ends.
How I approach the work
- Map the process as it runs today — the people, the handoffs, and the steps still done by hand.
- Decide where the data should live before building screens or flows.
- Deliver in increments the business can review, starting with the highest-friction step.
- Automate the approvals and notifications that consume the most time, then measure the change.
- Document environments and solutions, and train internal makers to extend the work.
Planning a Power Apps build, workflow migration, or Dataverse cleanup?
- A clear map of the current process before anything is built
- A data model and environment strategy agreed with the business
- Documentation and training so your makers own it afterward
